Dalkia have an opportunity for a part-time Access Control and Vetting Administrator to join our Facilities Management team at our prestigious EDF office in Gloucester Business Park.

Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8am – 12pm + holiday and sickness cover
Location: Gloucester Business Park
This is a newly created part-time role working alongside our customer in their Access Control & Vetting Team in Gloucester. Day to day activities will be driven by our client and interactions will be primarily with EDF colleagues, contractors, visitors.
The core purpose of the role will be to support our customer EDF, in the management of access control to the corporate estate, ACS Project, Administrative support to Company Security Management Team. Support to the management of several security projects including Visitor Management System and the Access Control System including a legacy ACS system as well as the new ACS Platform.

Main Duties:
- Support the EDF Vetting Officer in the BPSS Vetting Process by supporting all types of Security Vetting.
- Enforcing Secure Vetting life cycle in line with ONR requirements.
- Delivering first class Security Clearance administration, verifying all clearances.
- Being responsible for in-housing training regarding new staff and Vetting systems.
- Monitoring all existing clearance expiries and requests whilst maintaining knowledge of all Security Policy framework.
- Verifying that clearances for employees, contractors and associates.
- Maintaining strong stakeholder.
Essential Requirements
- Experience of successfully working within a team environment but comfortable working on their own at times.
- A highly organised individual who is comfortable following processes and procedures.
- Excellent Customer Service skills with experience of using telephone and IT systems, and in person, in resolving queries.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to ensure adherence to KPIs.
- Dealing with customers, colleagues and service partners at various levels.
- Always puts the customer first and is comfortable making suggestions to improve service.
- Resilience within an often fast paced environment and able to prioritise workload.
- Customer-service oriented with a problem-solving attitude.
- Used IT as part of previous roles.
- Good interpersonal skills and telephone manner.
- Has a high degree of personal integrity.
