About Us
We are a social housing landlord and one of the largest housing providers in the region with over 22,000 social and affordable homes, mainly in the Bradford district. We employ a talented workforce of nearly 1,000 people.
In 2024 we’ve launched our five-year Corporate Strategy, which runs to 2029. Our purpose is to provide high quality homes, services, and support to our customers, so we’ve worked with colleagues and customers to find out what’s important to them. Our customers sit at the heart of what we do, and our colleagues are the people who’ll help us achieve our vision, which is to create the best customer experience to improve everyday lives.
Duties Include:
- Ensure we can gain access to our customers’ homes to co-ordinate gas servicing and compliance with our statutory obligations, in relation to gas servicing and safety.
- Make day to day decisions on the appropriate action required to ensure that Incommunities meet the full compliance of the current gas servicing legislation.
- Make recommendations for procedural changes to the Gas Servicing Manager and senior management.
- Access to confidential information relating to tenancies, and sensitive information relating to customers.
- Coordinate and schedule work associated with annual gas service programme across Incommunities properties.
- Liaise directly with the engineers to schedule work and arrange access for servicing.
- Co-ordination and management of gas service appointments.
- Support engineers on site and from the office with queries and problems on the job.
- Work closely with the Legal Team to initiate Injunction proceedings when access cannot be gained to properties and prepare necessary paperwork to take appropriate action in relation to Incommunities’ statutory obligations including court attendance when appropriate.
- Maintain and keep up to date gas servicing records and associated databases.
- Collect, analyse and report on gas compliance statistics at the direction of the Gas Servicing Manager or senior management.
- Assist the Gas Servicing Manager with contractor liaison and formal contract meetings for external contracts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
