Remuneration

This is a self-employed opportunity offering a competitive, performance-based remuneration package

About Assisted Living

Assisted Living is a growing specialist provider of accessible bathing solutions, dedicated to helping people live more safely, comfortably and independently in their own homes.

We specialise in the design and installation of walk-in showers, level-access showers, wet rooms, walk-in baths and complete bathroom adaptations, providing practical solutions tailored to each customer's individual requirements.

As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are looking for an experienced, professional and motivated Self-Employed Bathing Surveyor / Accessible Bathroom Sales Consultant to represent our business across Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

The Role

We are seeking a personable, commercially minded and experienced surveyor to visit customers in their homes, assess their individual bathing and mobility requirements, and recommend suitable accessible bathroom solutions.

This is a field-based, consultative sales opportunity combining technical surveying, bathroom design, customer service and sales.

Assisted Living will provide customer enquiries and pre-arranged appointments. However, the successful candidate will also be responsible for managing allocated enquiries directly, contacting customers and arranging home surveys at mutually convenient dates and times.

You will manage your own appointment diary, conduct detailed surveys, prepare accurate proposals and guide customers through the process of choosing the right bathing solution.

We operate a no-pressure, no-order-on-site policy, placing customer confidence, trust and satisfaction at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Enquiries & Appointment Management

  • Attend pre-arranged customer appointments supplied by Assisted Living.
  • Manage customer enquiries allocated directly to you, including making initial contact and understanding customer requirements.
  • Contact customers to arrange home survey appointments at mutually convenient dates and times.
  • Organise and manage your own diary, planning appointments efficiently across your designated territory.
  • Maintain professional and timely communication with customers throughout the enquiry, survey and quotation process.
  • Ensure all customer enquiries, appointments and interactions are accurately recorded within the company's CRM system.
  • Proactively follow up outstanding quotations and customer enquiries in a professional, consultative manner.

Home Surveys & Bathroom Design

  • Conduct thorough home surveys, taking accurate measurements, photographs and relevant technical information.
  • Assess existing bathroom layouts, plumbing arrangements, access requirements and potential installation considerations.
  • Understand customers' individual mobility, accessibility and bathing requirements.
  • Recommend appropriate bathing solutions, including walk-in showers, level-access showers, wet rooms, walk-in baths and full bathroom adaptations.
  • Work closely with customers, family members and carers where appropriate to develop practical, safe and attractive bathroom designs.
  • Produce accurate survey documentation, bathroom designs and specifications using company systems.
  • Identify potential installation challenges and ensure these are clearly documented prior to quotation and installation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
