Accessible Marketing Specialist

We are looking for an Accessible Marketing Specialist to take ownership of our public messaging, digital flyers, social media content, and community communications. You will ensure our visual and written content is clear, inviting, fully accessible to neurodivergent readers and disabled community members, and strictly aligned with digital accessibility standards.

Who You Are

  • "I am deeply passionate about digital accessibility and inclusion." You understand how neurodivergent, visually impaired, or disabled people interact with online content and know how to remove barriers.
  • "I know how to write in an engaging, trauma-informed way." You can communicate key details warmly without losing clarity or overwhelming the reader.
  • "I have a high attention to detail." You take pride in catching tiny formatting errors, broken links, or visual glitches before content goes live.
  • "I understand our community." You value self-advocacy, youth empowerment, and creating safe spaces for LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accessible Graphic & Media Design: Create visual content, flyers, and digital assets optimised for readability, colour contrast, dyslexia-friendly typography, and clear visual hierarchy.
  • Digital Accessibility Standards: Ensure all social media posts, web content, and digital forms incorporate proper alternative text (alt text), image descriptions, video captioning, and screen-reader compatibility.
  • Plain English & Inclusive Copywriting: Write clear, concise, and trauma-informed copy that avoids unnecessary jargon, confusing layouts, or overwhelming blocks of text.
  • Multi-Channel Distribution: Help manage and format posts across our main channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Discord, and email updates).
  • Detail-Oriented Review: Double-check operational details (event dates, times, age requirements, contact emails, and signup links) across all campaigns prior to publication.
  • Volunteer Guidance & Collaboration: Work alongside our team and volunteers, supporting them to co-create graphics and guiding them on digital accessibility best practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
