Job purpose

Reporting into the Ownership Experience Manager the Accessory and Merchandise Product Specialist will manage the development and sales performance of local and HQ supplied Accessories and Merchandise for both the Geely and Zeekr brands. Ensuring a profitable and timely delivery of products while managing contracts, inventory, suppliers, Purchasing & promotions to Dealers.

  • For Geely and Zeekr brands, development, planning and delivery of a profitable accessory range (including Merchandise) by vehicle during product life cycle.
  • Marketing and Sales promotion of accessories with the management of pricing & competitor price points.
  • Adherence to meet UK/EU regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting of accessories by Dealer and vehicle sales channel.
  • Become the expert on accessories by implementing minimum standards with Sales & Dealer partners.
  • Raising relevant data sets on IT systems.

Locally Sourced Accessories and Merchandise

  • To procure & develop locally sourced accessories competitive prices from identified range gaps.
  • Manage the supplier base from cost, tendering, contract, negotiation & PO.
  • Market & promote locally sourced Accessories in relevant channels.

Pricing and Stock Management

  • The management of Dealer pricing from RRP to Net Invoice value.
  • Tracking & management of gross margins & costs to meet business KPI’s.
  • Communication and implementation of price changes to the Dealer network.
  • Supporting DMS providers with pricing updates & associated data.
  • Optimise stock holding to ensure customer satisfaction whilst controlling costs

Education, Skills and Personal characteristics required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Automotive technology, Engineering, Customer Service or a related field.
  • Or comparable qualifications or experience.
