Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accommodation Maintenance role based in Inverurie. The role involves carrying out routine maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment of site accommodation units and modular buildings to ensure they are safe, clean, and fully functional. Daily tasks include inspecting units, diagnosing faults, performing equipment and building repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend asset life. The Accommodation Maintenance team member will also respond to maintenance requests, complete accurate records of work carried out, and work closely with colleagues to support efficient site operations. The role requires adherence to health and safety standards, effective use of tools and equipment, and a proactive approach to maintaining a high standard of accommodation for customers.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and general Maintenance for site accommodation and modular units.
  • Skills in Preventive Maintenance to plan and perform routine inspections and servicing.
  • Skills in Maintenance & Repair to diagnose issues and carry out effective corrective work.
  • Skills in Troubleshooting to identify root causes of faults and implement practical solutions.
  • Relevant experience in building, facilities, or accommodation maintenance within construction or site services is beneficial.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe use of tools and equipment is required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good time management and communication skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between local sites when needed is advantageous.
  • Vocational qualification or apprenticeship in maintenance, plumbing, joinery, or a related trade is preferred but not mandatory.
