Job Title: Accommodation Maintenance Operative

BAM Site Solutions are looking to recruit an Accommodation Maintenance Operative based in Kilsyth.

39 hours a week, 8am - 4.30pm Monday -Thursday & 8am - 3.30pm Friday. Overtime will be available.

What you’ll be doing:

  • General refurbishment, fit out and maintenance of Portable Accommodation units in a workshop and site environment to current standards and regulations along with Depot building maintenance.
  • Placing Health & Safety of all involved in the business as your top priority.
  • Preparation for painting, fitting doors, partitions, floors, sinks, taps and worktops.
  • Doing it right first time and identifying failures to prevent recurrence.
  • Operating procedures and documented systems.
  • Understanding and fulfilling your customers’ needs.
  • Supporting BAM in all its operations as required.
  • Minimising the environmental impact on your operation.
  • Striving for profitable growth.
  • Various other tasks as defined by your line manager associated with your role.
  • Attend sites to carry out refurbishment as per managers request and to current standards and regulations.
  • Assist with implementation of Your Safety Is My safety.
  • Ensure standards align with new BAM values.
  • Work efficiently and safely alongside other team members.
  • Assist with depot maintenance and utilities as and when required.
  • Ensure workplace risk assessments are being used prior to work commencing.
  • Operate plant safely, as and when required, in relation to role.

  • Experienced in Plumbing, Joinery and Decorating, this would suit a maintenance or handy person.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritise a busy workload.
  • An enthusiastic team player.

  • Slinger/ signaller preferred.
  • CPCS – various categories.
  • MPBA preferred.
