Accommodation Manager

Every room has to be perfect. We’re searching for an Accommodation Manager to make sure our standards never slip - managing all aspects of our accommodation and laundry operations to deliver memorable and unique guest experiences at voco Belfast.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Managing, coaching, and developing a team dedicated to delivering exceptional housekeeping and laundry standards
  • Responsible for the people function within Accommodation - managing and supporting the employee lifecycle from induction to talent planning and succession
  • Ensuring all administrative duties are complete behind the scenes - from payroll, rota management to training compliance
  • Maintaining and ordering supplies and equipment - while minimising waste - in support of our green initiatives
  • Helping to refine and prepare budgets that help us maximise profitability
  • Addressing special requests for guests, VIPs, repeat visitors and VIP Club members
  • Assisting with deep cleaning projects and occasionally assisting your team during busy periods, leading by example and collaborating with other departments.
  • Educating all team members on the importance of remaining compliant with local laws and safety standards
  • Serve as a duty manager on duty when required

What We Need From You

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a managerial role within accommodation. Working within a branded environment is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of exceeding guest expectations and achieving high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on coaching and development.
  • Proficient in hospitality industry software and technology.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Ability to work effectively with your team and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
