Accommodation Manager (Fixed-Term)

Location: Alton Towers Resort

Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract Type: 9 month fixed term, starting on 16th September 2026.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Accommodation Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our accommodation team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and high operational standards at all times.

Reporting to the Senior Accommodation Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Enchanted Village & Stargazing Pods operations while maintaining quality standards, driving team performance, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and brand requirements. You will work collaboratively with resort teams to resolve operational challenges, improve processes, and deliver memorable guest experiences.

You will also play a key role in developing and motivating a high-performing team while driving continuous improvement across the operation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous management experience within accommodation, hospitality, hotel, resort, or guest services environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams.
  • Experience managing housekeeping, front office, or accommodation operations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A guest-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with confidence using data and performance metrics to drive improvements.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance requirements within an operational environment.
  • Experience handling guest feedback and resolving complaints effectively.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional night shifts as required.
  • Confidence using operational systems and administration tools within a hospitality environment.
