Accounts Assistant – London

Salary: Up to £45,000

Location: Central London, near Liverpool Street and Bank

Working arrangement: Office based, five days per week

Start date: ASAP

We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a well-established supplier of natural foods and ingredients.

You’ll support the day-to-day finance function, including:

  • Purchase and sales ledgers
  • Multi-currency transactions
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Cash allocations and payments
  • VAT returns
  • Credit control
  • Payroll support
  • Month-end reporting

Essential experience:

  • Strong knowledge of Sage 50 and/or Xero
  • Previous multi-currency accounting experience
  • Experience within the logistics, shipping or freight industry
  • At least three years’ relevant accounting experience
  • The ability to work from the London office five days per week
