Account Administrator
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break)

About the Role
We are looking for a well-organised and proactive Administrator to join our team. This is a varied role that requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a professional approach when dealing with clients and colleagues. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating work schedules, supporting the office team, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate Fire Damper, Ventilation Hygiene Cleaning and Grease Extract works.
- Liaise professionally with clients and field operatives to ensure jobs are planned and completed efficiently.
- Manage and maintain work schedules, responding to changes and priorities as required.
- Prepare and distribute post-clean reports.
- Update and manage schematics and related documentation.
- Complete invoicing spreadsheets accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain organised filing systems, both electronic and paper-based.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to enquiries professionally.
- Handle client queries and complaints effectively, escalating where appropriate.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider team.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in scheduling, planning or office administration.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- Excellent communication skills, including a clear and professional telephone manner.
- Confidence in dealing with clients, colleagues and contractors.
- A positive, personable attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
- The ability to work independently, use initiative and self-manage when required.
- Strong multitasking skills and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word.
- A willingness to learn and develop within the role.
- Reliable attendance and excellent punctuality.
