We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Account & Workflow Manager to play a pivotal role in managing strategic customer relationships while supporting operational planning and delivery performance. This is a varied position that combines account management, project coordination and production workflow oversight. You will act as the primary point of contact for key customers, ensuring exceptional service whilst maintaining accurate production visibility to support on-time delivery and operational efficiency. Hours
- 07.45am - 5.00pm Monday to Thursday
- 07.45am - 12.45pm Friday (1 Friday off every 4 weeks!)

Main Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for allocated strategic customer accounts.
- Develop strong customer relationships to maximise customer satisfaction, retention and account growth.
- Manage customer enquiries, quotations, orders and project activity from enquiry through to delivery.
- Prepare quotations, quote reviews and supporting commercial documentation under the supervision of the Head of Sales.
- Coordinate customer requirements with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Procurement teams.
- Attend customer meetings, reviews and site visits as required.
- Travel to customer and AQ locations when required.
- Proactively identify opportunities for account growth and additional business.
- Maintain customer forecasts and pipeline opportunities.
- Monitor customer projects to ensure delivery commitments are achieved.
- Provide regular production status updates for the designated manufacturing site.
- Maintain and update the production loading board to provide accurate visibility of planned and available manufacturing hours.
- Work closely with Planning and Operations teams to identify capacity constraints, delivery risks and scheduling priorities.
Experience / Skills / Attributes needed:
- Proven experience in account management, project management or customer relationship management.
- Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of production planning, capacity management and scheduling principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels of the organisation.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
- Ability to analyse production data and present meaningful reports.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Professional and confident customer-facing manner.
