Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Account Assistant role based in London. The Account Assistant will support day-to-day financial operations, including processing invoices, recording transactions, and reconciling accounts. Responsibilities include:

- Assisting with credit control activities
- Managing petty cash
- Preparing basic financial reports
- Maintaining accurate accounting records
- Communicating with suppliers and internal team members to resolve queries, ensure timely payments, and support month-end and year-end processes

The role also involves collaborating closely with the finance team to uphold compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Accounting to support daily bookkeeping and reporting tasks.
- Candidates should possess skills in Credit Control to help monitor outstanding balances and follow up on payments.
- Candidates should possess skills in managing Petty Cash, including tracking expenditures and maintaining accurate records.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers, colleagues, and management.
- Basic knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) is beneficial.
- Relevant experience in a finance or accounts assistant role, preferably within hospitality or retail, is an asset.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a busy on-site environment are important.
- A relevant qualification or coursework in accounting, finance, or business is preferred.
