Account Assistant
As an Account Assistant in the industrial and manufacturing sector, you'll support the finance team with day-to-day tasks such as processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate records. Based in Reading, this temporary role is crucial for ensuring smooth financial operations within the organisation.

Description
- Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure discrepancies are resolved efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Assist with preparing financial reports as required.
- Support the finance team with administrative tasks and data entry.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and systems.

Profile
A Successful Account Assistant Should Have
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- An ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Job Offer
- Hourly rate between £14.00 and £18.00, dependent on the level of experience.
- Temporary position based in Reading.
