Are you a Finance Assistant looking for more than just a transactional finance role?

This could be a great opportunity to join a fast-growing business based in, where you'll become an integral part of a supportive finance team and gain exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities.

This isn't simply an invoice processing position. You'll gain exposure across the finance function and work closely with the Finance Manager, wider finance team, operational managers and senior stakeholders.

You'll have the opportunity to develop your technical accounting skills, take ownership of your work and get involved in projects and process improvements.

Following successful completion of probation, you'll typically work 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

  • Completing daily bank reconciliations and cash book journals
  • Preparing regular income and expense account reconciliations
  • Supporting balance sheet reconciliations
  • Completing supplier statement reconciliations
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc accounting projects
  • Working closely with stakeholders across Operations and the wider business
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a finance/finance administration role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good understanding of reconciliations and journals

You don't need to know everything from day one attitude, curiosity and the desire to develop are hugely important.
