Account Assistant
Status: Full-time
Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire (hybrid working)
We are seeking a proactive Account Assistant to support our wholesalers, distributors and sales rep groups. This role is focused on helping to coordinate day-to-day account activity, providing reliable administrative support and assisting the Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day tasks with helping to respond to queries and share information as needed.
- Assist with preparing sales materials, product information, samples, price lists, and account updates.
- Support the sales team with reporting, tracking orders and following up on outstanding information.
- Work with internal teams including Customer Service and Finance to help ensure smooth account support.
- Help resolve basic account queries by gathering information, escalating issues where needed and keeping customers updated.

Skills & Experience
- Experience in customer service, sales support, administration or a similar office-based role would be helpful.
- Clear communication skills and a helpful, friendly approach when working with customers and colleagues.
- Good attention to detail and confidence working with information, documents and internal systems.
- Organised and able to manage day-to-day tasks, follow-ups and deadlines with support from the team.
- Effective listener who can understand and appropriately to customer needs
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and experience with order systems would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as a team
