Accounts Assistant – Temporary
Up to £33,000 | Brighton | Hybrid Working
I’m currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a finance team based in Brighton on a temporary basis, offering a salary of up to £33,000 (hourly) plus hybrid working.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant or someone with a solid background in transactional finance who is available immediately or at short notice and looking for their next temporary assignment.
The Role
You’ll be supporting the wider finance team across a range of duties, including:

- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with payment runs
- Managing supplier and customer queries
- Supporting with month-end processes
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with general finance administration and ad-hoc tasks
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience within an accounts or transactional finance role
- Has a good understanding of core accounting processes
- Is confident using Excel and finance systems
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is organised and able to manage their own workload
- Can hit the ground running in a busy finance environment
- Is available immediately or at short notice
