Job Description
Accounts Assistant Role & Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts,
- Accruals and prepayment
- Production of monthly Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet
- Maintaining customers and suppliers ledger, main journal posting, and bank reconciliation
- Periodic reviews of client’s files to ensure that information is being recorded correctly
- Calculating liabilities such as PAYE and VAT & ensuring RTI requirements are met
- Construction Industry Scheme
- Ensuring your clients meet all their filing deadlines, providing reminders to clients where necessary
- Communicating with HMRC and banking providers

What We Are Looking For In An Accounts Assistant

- AAT qualified Accountant
- Accuracy and attention to detail with good time management and organisation skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of HMRC guidelines
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £28,000.00 per year
