Account-Based Marketing Executive

Are you looking to cement your career in Marketing or Sales? At Planixs, we’re seeking a motivated and ambitious entry-level Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Executive to join us in this hybrid role, partly based at our Manchester city centre office.

We have a hyper-focused account-based marketing strategy, where our marketing team members identify and approach key individuals at target accounts. Our goal is to engage and educate around industry trends, events, and problems, creating a gateway to introduce our award-winning solutions.

As we scale this model, we’re looking for someone with a strong desire to learn and springboard their career, delivering a strategic and targeted approach in running multiple essential marketing campaigns.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Contacting prospective clients to invite them to live and digital events via telephone, email, and social media.
  • Updating contact information on our CRM (customer relationship management) system and in Excel.
  • Regularly report progress and work closely with members of the sales team to manage and hand over relationships.
  • Assist with ad hoc marketing tasks, including ABM content creation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
