To help support our future growth as an agency, we are looking for an Account Coordinator, Fashion Communications to join our team based in our London office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver creative and considered media mailers, and persuasive and engaging press releases and copy to ensure our clients are at the forefront of target media and supporting their strategic objectives.
  • Actively seek opportunities to pitch news stories relating to product, key news items, and events.
  • Lead showroom appointments and recognise their value in building and cultivating relationships with members of the press.
  • Oversee the Account Assistants/Interns in the daily Sample Trafficking process, ensuring the end-to-end process runs smoothly, requests are prioritised appropriately, and escalate any issues that arise across the communications and logistics departments.
  • Manage workflow and delegate priorities for the day to the Account Assistants/Interns based on knowledge of client requirements and workload.
  • Review client credit levels and discuss findings and solutions with the Account Managers to ensure that clients achieve and exceed the agreed levels of coverage.
  • In the absence of Account Managers, communicate to client stakeholders in a way that reassures the client and represents the Karla Otto brand.
  • Support the asset management process and ensure assets are delivering the required Return on Investment (ROI); raising concerns and solutions to the relevant Account Manager where necessary.
  • Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and media updates for client calls.
  • Create relevant competitor analysis that can be used in commercial decision making by the wider team.

Key Attributes

  • Extensive experience as a high performing Accounts Assistant/PR Assistant in a fast-paced agency/in-house environment.
  • Interested in culture, arts, fashion, and lifestyle and can talk confidently and make suggestions about how these elements can be used to enhance our client’s offering.
  • Strong relationships with press and industry peers.
  • Actively seek opportunities to learn something new and broaden their experiences.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral), research, and organization skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, prioritizing own work in a fast-paced environment as well as junior members of the team.
  • Positive attitude to challenging situations and a willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty in order to complete a project accurately and on time.
  • Must be efficient in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
