Account Development Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Account Development Manager to join Ciphr!

Our Sales team is fundamental in driving the future growth and success of the Ciphr Group, ultimately supporting organisations across the UK to amplify HR & attract, engage, develop, and retain their top talent.

Location

The role is Hybrid, minimum 1 day a week at the Ciphr HQ in Reading, Berkshire and travel to customer/prospect sites when required.

What You'll Do

  • Proactively target, source, identify and qualify sales opportunities in respect of new customer acquisition, by leveraging a deep understanding of our HCM SaaS solutions and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential sales through various prospecting methods, including, but not limited to networking and referrals.
  • Sell the full product portfolio to new customers & partners, whilst taking a proactive role in self-learning, certification where required and upskilling to leverage sales methodology to deliver quota attainment.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and present customized product demonstrations, presentations, and meetings to prospective customers, highlighting the value and benefits of our HCM solutions.
  • Positively represent Ciphr at exhibitions, forums and other sales and industry events.
  • Manage formal bid processes including generation of ITT, PQQ and RFI responses, leveraging tools provided.
  • Effectively managing the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, with continuous updates in the Ciphr CRM and/or tools that enable the business to track opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends and competitors to develop strategic insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reporting to management.

What You'll Bring

  • Substantial experience demonstrating a consultative sales approach, preferably within the HCM, SaaS or related industries. Strong understanding and the ability to use formal sales methodologies - ie MANACT, MEDDIC, MEDDPICC or Challenger.
  • An attitude and aptitude for successful prospecting and opportunity creation. Proven success in generating and closing your own self generated opportunities.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and building a strong sales pipeline.
  • A Growth-minded, self-driven mindset, and able to interact with differing demographics of organisation and individual stakeholders up to C Level.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record in successful closing.
  • Robust qualification, questioning & listening skills.
  • The ability to optimise opportunities, exploring and creating customer need. A problem solver who can identify challenges, propose creative solutions and overcome objections.
  • A self-starter mentality to continually self-improve your skills and knowledge.
  • A can-do, independent, enthusiastic, and positive attitude to drive individual and team success!
  • 3+ years of closing experience as an AE in a SaaS Mid-Market environment.
