Account Director
Location: Remote (UK-based) | Occasional travel to Yorkshire office
Salary: £50K-£60K (basic dependant on experience) + Uncapped commission. Realistic OTE of £70-80K

We are an innovative data company that works with UK property data. Helping estate agents, Landlords, new homes developers and other markets identify and target opportunities. Having been selected by Geovation start up accelerator and backed by 2nd Capital venture VC REACH the funding will help us invest in rapid growth.
We’re looking for a self-starting Account Director, to join our fast-growing team. If you are deeply familiar with the property industry or SAAS sales, love closing deals, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
About the Role
As an account director, your mission is to drive revenue by booking and closing product demonstrations with estate agents, lettings teams, property professionals and landlords across the UK. While marketing will generate inbound leads, you’ll be expected to proactively identify and chase your own opportunities. You’ll take full ownership of your pipeline—from prospecting and demo to close.
This role is ideal for someone with a startup mentality—adaptable, hands-on, and willing to wear multiple hats when needed. You’ll have the freedom to test new ideas, build what you need to succeed, and help shape the future of our sales approach.

You’ll Need
- Proven experience in a sales role, ideally B2B SaaS or property-related
- Deep understanding of the UK estate agency market or property market (must-have)
- Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
- Strong presentation and demo skills
- Excellent self-motivation and a proactive attitude
- A flexible, startup-ready mindset—happy to muck in when needed
- Confidence to work remotely while staying highly organised and results-driven
Bonus Points
- Previous experience as an estate agent
- Prior experience selling to estate agents or proptech solutions
- Experience in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation and prospecting: Conduct outbound calls to identify and qualify potential customers, generate leads, and close free trial accounts
- Sales Pitch: Effectively communicate the value proposition of Propalt
- Customer Needs Assessment: Understand customer requirements, address concerns, and provide appropriate solutions to meet their needs.
- Sales Conversion: Convert qualified leads into sales opportunities by actively engaging with customers, overcoming objections, and closing deals.
- Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets within specified timeframes.
- Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, call logs, and sales activity reports within Hubspot.
- Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities and devise effective sales strategies.

Key Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in telesales, outbound sales, or customer service is preferred.
- Backgrounds in Property, mapping technologies or estate agency an advantage.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication and active listening skills to effectively engage customers and build rapport.
- Target-Driven: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle objections, rejection, and maintain a positive attitude to overcome challenges.
- Effective organization and prioritization skills to manage a high volume of calls and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing sales strategies, product updates, and customer preferences.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, sales software, and other relevant tools.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £55,000.00-£65,000 per year. As a sales role you can expect an OTE performance of at least £65,000
