Randstad Risesmart EMEA is looking for an Account Director
Randstad Risesmart EMEA is looking for an account director to join our EMEA global accounts management team. If you want to work in a fast-paced environment, bring innovation in service and technology to the outplacement and talent development industry, make an impact on companies all over the world, have a career with purpose, then join us on our journey.
This is a full-time, remote position with an employment contract located in either Budapest, Hungary or the United Kingdom (meaning the recipient will have to have residence in the respective countries).
About the Job
The account director is a dynamic position focused on creating a WOW experience for our global customers ensuring account growth and retention. This multi-faceted role is responsible for developing strategic partnerships with our HR customers in the area of outplacement and talent development. He / she is responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts that are contracted out of EMEA, in addition to supporting account management for contracts that are signed out of NAM and APAC. The accountability of the account typically starts when the global contract is signed with sales and ownership is transferred to account management and operations.
The position sits in our EMEA team managing global accounts: clients with global operations requiring Randstad Risesmart services globally or regionally. The nature of these global services require that Risesmart services be implemented in several locations across the region or the globe, under a global contract in place impacting more than one country for Risesmart operations.
The EMEA global accounts management team operates mainly when a global contract is in place and is also asked to support global sales in the pre-contract sales process, mostly to demonstrate our global account management capabilities in pitch situations.
What You Will Do
- Develop strong relationships with existing or newly acquired global customers, providing guidance and support for career development, redeployment, outplacement, coaching needs, to include advising, planning, implementation and reporting
- Identify customer global executives and stakeholders for relationship development and introduce to other Risesmart and wider Enterprise team members as appropriate
- Insure compliance with executed global contract/amendments
- Work closely with Risesmart’s country Operations and Delivery teams, communicating any customer nuances or customizations across EMEA and the world
- Monitor participant and customer surveys ensuring expectations are consistently being met or exceeded, follow-up on all potential issues for resolution
- Expand size and scope of services delivered to the global customer, either within the existing contract or adding additional geographies and lines of business
- Ensure customers (in partnership with Sales) are current on all Risesmart products
- Solicit customer input on current products, services & tools, collect customer insights on customer needs and wants, provide feedback to the Product team
- Consistently use creative thinking for potential improvements for programs, processes, resources/tools, etc.
- Schedule and manage business review process (inviting Sales or other subject matter experts when relevant) with all customers
- Partner with Risesmart billing teams in the country where the global contract sits to ensure accuracy of invoicing and support collection of past due A/R

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
