About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated and passionate account director to join our busy team, for one year of maternity cover. Working in one of Scotland’s most respected and awarded creative agencies, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing international integrated campaigns and specialist packaging projects for a bold whisky brand (with additional scope across financial services, public sector and property).
The role is hybrid with an expectation to be in the office (Edinburgh city centre) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
A Bit About You
You’ll need to be someone who is comfortable managing multiple priorities and changing deadlines, whilst working alongside talented and collaborative colleagues.
You should be commercially minded and a champion for creativity, quick to understand a client’s business, their requirements and how we can add value. Your client facing skills are exceptional, with a proven ability to manage expectations, build long-term relationships and drive organic growth. You have experience in, and a passion for, multi-channel communication. You take pride in delivering work to a high standard and strive to exceed client expectations.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
