You will be joining our commercial advertising team. At Bauer Media Advertising 'Together We Create Impact', meaning that every part of the commercial team is focused on creating impact for our customers by leveraging our brands and platforms to deliver against their objectives.
The Difference you will make
As an Audio Account Director (12 month FTC), you will be focused on OMD and PHD, and sit within the Omnicom Media Hub team. You will have equal responsibility for driving airtime and creative partnership revenues.
Working closely with the Commercial Director, Audio Group Head, Group Client Leads, and Creative Strategists aligned to the hub, you will ensure that the Customer Strategies and Creative Process are implemented effectively.
Your role
- Deliver market beating share of airtime and creative revenues by fully understanding agency motivations, and priorities and client planning cycles.
- Through a focused proactive agenda informed by the Customer Strategies, develop new business and retain existing business across display and creative.
- Drive brand count across the agency territory and improve our conversion rate of creative pitches.
- Evangelise audio, Bauer’s proposition, and position our brands and audiences through engagement pieces within the hub agencies and with key clients.
- Ensure that our profile and traction with hub agencies is consistent and high quality.
- Ensure that new developments are regularly presented and clearly understood.
- Ensure full interrogation and understanding of partnership briefs to successfully inform our response.
- Gather insight from agency to deliver best in class creative solutions.
- In collaboration with the Creative Strategy team, build compelling pitch presentations offering custom partnership solutions to agencies and clients.

The Skills you will bring
- A strong consultative sales approach.
- Experience of working with network media agencies at a mid-level with strong contacts across media agencies.
- Genuine knowledge of and passion for audio, our brands, and the ability to sell a portfolio of stations.
- Strong understanding of the broader media marketplace, particularly broadcast and digital.
- Experience of creating, pitching, and landing big ticket sponsorship and partnership deals.
- Strong understanding of agency trading deals and trading mechanics.
Working Pattern/Location
This is a 12 month fixed term contract, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm with flexible working hours. We also offer a hybrid way of working that supports a balance of working from home and our office in London (5 minutes’ walk from Euston Station).
