Account Director
Location: Uxbridge, Manchester, and Sheffield. 3 days a week in office
About the role
Are you an experienced enterprise sales professional who thrives on building strategic client relationships and driving business growth? At Insight, we're looking for an Account Director to take ownership of a portfolio of large enterprise customers, helping them solve complex business challenges through technology, services, and solutions. You'll be a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, developing long-term account strategies, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
This is a highly visible role where you'll collaborate with technical specialists, solution architects, services teams, and leadership stakeholders to grow strategic accounts and deliver value across Insight's full portfolio of solutions and services.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute strategic account plans across a portfolio of enterprise customers.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and C-suite stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to expand customer engagement through Insight's technology, services, and solutions portfolio.
- Drive revenue growth through cross-selling, upselling, and solution-led conversations.
- Lead virtual account teams to achieve customer objectives and business outcomes.
- Understand customer priorities, challenges, and long-term goals to position Insight as a strategic partner.
- Manage pipeline and forecasting activities to drive predictable business performance.
- Shape compelling business cases and value propositions that support customer transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate across sales, services, partner, and delivery teams to maximise customer success.

What you'll bring
- Proven success managing and growing large enterprise or strategic accounts.
- Experience selling technology solutions, IT services, software, or managed services.
- A track record of influencing senior stakeholders and executive-level decision-makers.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience developing strategic growth plans.
- Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles.
- Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and account planning capabilities.
- The ability to challenge thinking, uncover opportunities, and create long-term customer value.
