Salary: Neg Depending on Experience

Fury Overview

At Fury, our mission is to craft bold immersive brand experiences, where imagination meets precision, and every detail is delivered with obsession. Where others deliver the expected, we push beyond it. We don’t just make things - we make people feel things, creating experiences that live beyond the moment.

Role Overview

The Account Director is responsible for the end-to-end performance of one or more client accounts, holding overall accountability for client relationships, commercial performance, delivery quality, account development, and growth. This role will work both within the Formula 1 sector and in the wider events and exhibitions world.

This is a combined account leadership and project delivery role, requiring the Account Director to personally lead the delivery of selected projects within their account while also maintaining overarching oversight of projects being led by other members of the account team.

They will be expected to operate confidently at both levels: leading projects directly from brief through to delivery, while also stepping back to manage the wider account, its commercial performance, client strategy, project portfolio, and team.

The Account Director acts as the key bridge between the Client Services Director and the wider delivery team, ensuring strategic objectives are translated into profitable, consistently well-executed projects, while providing clear leadership, direction, and support to those delivering projects across the account.

Tasks and Duties

Account Leadership, Strategy & Ownership

  • Take full ownership of assigned client account, acting as the senior day-to-day lead and escalation point, building and maintaining strong, trusted client relationships at senior level
  • Ensure a deep understanding of client objectives, pressures, and long-term goals, leading the development of clear client account strategies, aligned to both client goals and Fury’s commercial objectives to drive Fury’s position as a strategic partner.
  • Drive consistency in service delivery and client experience across all projects
  • Proactively identify risks, challenges, and opportunities within the account and take ownership of solutions

Commercial Control & Financial Accountability

  • Hold full accountability for the commercial performance of all projects within the account
  • Own, actively manage, and oversee team for:
    • Project profitability (margin delivery vs target)
    • Time utilisation across the team
    • Budget tracking and financial forecasting
    • Invoicing schedules and cash flow
    • Billing for scope changes and additional works
  • Ensure tight control of scope and prevent scope creep through clear client management, ensuring all changes are captured, costed, and approved
  • Lead timely financial reconciliation of all projects
  • Provide clear, accurate, and regular commercial reporting to the Client Services Director and Managing Director
  • Identify trends, inefficiencies, or margin erosion and implement corrective actions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
