Job Title

This is a senior commercial opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare market to develop high-value strategic accounts and sell sophisticated digital marketing solutions to some of the world's leading pharma and biotech businesses.

The role combines new business development, strategic account growth and senior client relationships, with significant autonomy over a small portfolio of major accounts.

About the company

Our client is a leading healthcare technology and digital communications business with access to the UK's largest professional network of doctors, with more than 245,000 members and over 50,000 doctors using its platform daily. It forms part of a major international healthcare technology group, giving employees the feel and autonomy of a relatively small business alongside the resources, data and reach of a global organisation.

The business works with pharmaceutical, biotech and wider healthcare organisations to deliver integrated digital solutions spanning medical education, e-detailing, sponsored content, digital advertising, analytics and online engagement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why apply?

This is a chance to take ownership of strategically important accounts worth anywhere from £200k to £2m, with excellent earning potential through a percentage-based commission structure. You'll have the backing of a major global healthcare technology group, while working within a smaller, collaborative UK team.

The role is highly flexible and predominantly remote, with an in-person team meeting around once a month as well as travel to meet clients, attend exhibitions and develop opportunities across Europe. There's also scope for people management as the role and team develop, making it an attractive move for an ambitious salesperson looking for greater ownership and progression.
