About the Company
An award-winning independent B2B creative agency is looking for an experienced Account Director to join its growing Client Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware client services leader who enjoys managing relationships, developing people and delivering strategic value for clients.
About the Role
You'll play a key role in managing and growing a portfolio of client accounts while leading and mentoring a small team. The agency is investing heavily in its future following a recent rebrand, refreshed values and a renewed focus on culture and performance. As Account Director, you'll be responsible for strengthening client partnerships, supporting account growth and helping to develop the next generation of talent within the business. This role requires someone who can balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to client delivery.

Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day relationships across a portfolio of B2B clients.
- Manage, mentor and develop a team of approximately four individuals.
- Drive client retention, growth and satisfaction.
- Lead strategic client conversations, proposals and reviews.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard.
- Support revenue growth and profitability targets.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on account planning and business development initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients while maintaining strong delivery oversight.

Required Skills
- Previous agency experience, ideally within a B2B environment.
- Proven account management and client relationship experience.
- Team leadership and mentoring experience.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of profitability.
- Experience managing retained and project-based client work.
- Ability to build credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Experience operating successfully within a fast-paced agency environment.
