Company Description

PLMR Healthcomms partners with health and care organizations to influence change and improve outcomes. The team specializes in public affairs, helping clients navigate policy, regulation, and stakeholder engagement in the health and care sector. PLMR Healthcomms also focuses on market access, supporting clients to bring innovations and services to patients and providers. Through integrated communications, the organization combines strategic insight with impactful campaigns to reach diverse audiences and drive measurable results.

Role Description

The Account Director role is a full-time position based in Greater London, offered on a hybrid basis with a mix of office and home working. The Account Director will lead client accounts in the health and care sector, overseeing strategy development, campaign planning, and delivery across public affairs, market access, and integrated communications.

The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary project teams, allocating resources, monitoring budgets, and reporting on performance. The Account Director will also support business development by identifying opportunities, contributing to pitches, and building long-term partnerships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated Account Management experience, with a track record of leading complex client relationships in health, care, or related sectors.
  • Strong Team Management and Team Leadership skills, including mentoring, performance management, and motivating colleagues at different levels.
  • Proven Sales and business development capabilities, including contributing to proposals, pitches, and revenue growth.
  • Advanced Project Management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver multiple projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex health and policy issues clearly to varied audiences.
  • Experience in public affairs, market access, or integrated communications within the health and care environment is highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and sound judgment under pressure.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in communications, public affairs, health policy, or a related discipline.
