Account Director – Managed IT Services
Remote – Midlands
£60,000–£70,000 base + uncapped OTE
I'm working with a fast-growing, PE-backed Managed Service Provider looking to strengthen its strategic Account Management function.
They're hiring an experienced Account Director to take ownership of a portfolio of key customers, developing senior relationships and driving growth across a broad technology and Managed Services portfolio.
This is much more than a renewal role. You'll be expected to understand your customers' businesses, build strategic account plans and identify where additional services can deliver genuine value.

What you'll be doing:
- Own and develop a portfolio of strategic customer relationships
- Build relationships with senior and C-level stakeholders
- Create and execute strategic account plans
- Drive retention, revenue growth and customer lifetime value
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across the wider portfolio
- Work with technical and delivery teams to develop customer solutions
- Own forecasting and commercial performance across your accounts
- Become a genuine trusted advisor rather than simply a supplier

What we're looking for:
- Strong Account Director / Senior Account Management experience
- Background within an MSP, Managed IT Services or IT Services environment
- Rounded knowledge across areas such as Managed IT, Cloud, Cyber, Connectivity and UCC
- Track record of growing existing enterprise or mid-market accounts
- Strong senior stakeholder management
- Commercial, consultative and strategic approach
This role suits someone who enjoys owning fewer, higher-value relationships and genuinely developing accounts, rather than managing a large transactional customer base.
