PR ACCOUNT DIRECTOR - Built Environment & Placemaking
London | Hybrid
£50,000 – £55,000
If you’re a property PR specialist who wants to work on projects that genuinely shape places, perceptions and communities, this is worth a conversation.
I’m working with an independent communications agency specialising in the built environment.
They’re now looking for an experienced PR Account Director who can lead accounts confidently, provide strategic counsel and still enjoy getting close to the work.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading integrated PR and communications campaigns across property, regeneration and placemaking
- Acting as a trusted senior adviser to clients
- Developing clear strategies that deliver commercial and reputational impact
- Creating strong media narratives, thought leadership and campaign ideas
- Overseeing budgets, timelines and account profitability
- Supporting and developing a talented account team
- Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts
- Contributing to pitches and new business activity
- Building strong relationships with property, business and trade media

What I’m looking for:
- Strong agency-side PR experience at Account Director level, or an established Senior Account Manager ready to step up
- A solid understanding of the built environment, property, regeneration or placemaking sectors
- Excellent strategic, writing and media relations skills
- Confidence advising senior clients and challenging thinking when needed
- Commercial awareness and experience growing accounts
- A supportive leadership style and genuine interest in developing people
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
