We exist to make our clients impossible to ignore. And that starts with the people we bring into this team.
We're looking for an Account Director who gets under a client's skin; who asks why, spots what others miss and makes everything matter. Someone who leads with confidence, coaches with care, and never treats quality as someone else's job.
You'll join Zircom's Birkenhead hub, working across a portfolio of B2B clients. You'll report to Nathan Harrison (Client Director) and work closely with our senior leadership to help ambitious businesses stand out where it matters most.
What you'll do
- Own senior client relationships and lead strategic direction across your accounts
- Drive integrated B2B campaigns that deliver real, measurable results
- Spot and develop new business opportunities – proactively, not reactively
- Coach and develop the Account Management team to deliver consistently excellent work
- Manage commercial performance: forecasting, profitability and account planning
- Be the kind of leader your team and clients trust without question

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
