ACCOUNT DIRECTOR – B2B SOCIAL & DIGITAL
London | Hybrid | £DOE | IMMEDIATE START REQUIRED | DEDICATED SOCIAL / CREATIVE BACKGROUND
Are you an experienced Account Director who loves building strong client relationships, shaping strategy and turning great ideas into impactful work?
We’re working with an award-winning social media and digital agency that partners with some of the world’s leading brands across sectors including sustainability, chemicals, food services, infrastructure, finance and travel.
The team is a brilliant mix of strategists, creatives, account managers, media specialists and digital experts, all united by one goal: creating work that genuinely earns people's attention on social media.
They’re now looking for an experienced Account Director to join their London team and take the lead across a portfolio of exciting B2B clients.
THE ROLE
Reporting into the Head of B2B, you’ll be responsible for building trusted senior client relationships, driving account growth and providing strategic counsel across a range of integrated marketing programmes.
You’ll be much more than the person managing the day-to-day account. This is a role for someone who enjoys getting under the skin of a client’s business, spotting opportunities and bringing confident, informed thinking to the table.
You’ll work across social, content, digital, influencer and wider integrated campaigns, leading projects from initial brief through to delivery and evaluation. You’ll also have ownership of the commercial side of your accounts, including forecasting, scoping, estimating and invoicing.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
