ABOUT THE COMPANY
We’re working with an ambitious, fast-growing marketing agency that is looking for an experienced Account Director to join its senior team.
This is a genuinely varied role that combines senior client leadership, strategic marketing, team management, and commercial growth. You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of entrepreneurial, fast-growth clients, working closely with senior stakeholders to develop marketing strategies that deliver tangible business results.
The agency has built a strong reputation for challenging traditional approaches to marketing and creating engaging, commercially focused content for its clients. With growth firmly on the agenda, this is an opportunity for someone who wants to have a real influence on both client success and the continued development of the agency.

DESCRIPTION
You’ll take the lead on approximately 3–6 client relationships, acting as a trusted strategic partner to CEOs, founders, and senior marketing teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading senior client relationships and becoming a trusted advisor to key stakeholders.
- Translating business objectives into clear, commercially focused content and marketing strategies.
- Overseeing the delivery of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Managing and developing a team
- Providing direction, coaching, and support to ensure the team continues to develop and deliver exceptional work.
- Identifying opportunities to grow existing client accounts and develop the agency’s offering.
- Taking ownership of client performance, using data and insight to improve results continually.
- Managing multiple projects and priorities while maintaining high standards of delivery.
- Contributing to the wider growth and direction of the agency.
EXPERIENCE
We’re looking for an experienced agency-side marketer and client leader who is comfortable operating at a senior level and enjoys being close to both the strategy and the execution.

You’ll ideally have:
- Strong experience within a marketing/content marketing agency environment.
- A proven track record of developing and delivering strategic marketing campaigns.
- Excellent client management skills, with the confidence to work with CEOs and senior decision-makers.
- Previous experience managing, mentoring, and developing a marketing team.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of account growth and client retention.
- The ability to turn complex or ambiguous business challenges into clear, actionable marketing strategies.
- A hands-on, pragmatic approach and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
- A genuine interest in content marketing and understanding how it can drive business growth.
REMUNERATION
£50,000–£60,000 salary, depending on experience.
- Hybrid working – 2 days in the office and 3 days remotely.
