Major Players are partnering with one of the world’s fastest growing independent experiential and youth marketing agencies to recruit for an Account Director/Senior Account Director to lead and growth their portfolio of drinks clients.
This is a senior, hands-on client leadership role with responsibility for account retention, profitability and growth, whilst also helping clients to scale successful programmes internationally, creating clear global frameworks while protecting quality, commercial performance, cultural relevance and local compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Own senior relationships across three to five major alcohol-sector accounts, becoming a trusted strategic and commercial partner.
- Develop account-growth plans and convert opportunities to expand the breadth, value and longevity of client relationships.
- Lead ambassador and community programmes from strategy, recruitment and training through to engagement, operations, safeguarding and measurement.
- Shape integrated, multi-channel work connecting physical experiences, ambassadors and events with community engagement, content and social amplification.
- Ensure alcohol campaigns are delivered responsibly, with appropriate attention to compliance, brand safety and age-appropriate engagement.
- Lead proposals, pitches, workshops, campaign reviews and senior client presentations.
- Translate briefs into clear scopes, plans and budgets, managing forecasting, resourcing, margins, timelines, risks and quality.
- Build scalable multi-market frameworks and coordinate internal teams, regional colleagues and external partners across time zones.
- Coach and develop team members, keep agency directors informed and improve processes that make account delivery more consistent and efficient

Experience required:
- Minimum of five years' client-services experience, ideally within an experiential, integrated or full-service agency, with a minimum of 2 years at Account Director level working on experiential projects.
- Extensive experience working with alcohol brands and a strong understanding of the responsibilities associated with marketing age-restricted products. This is essential.
- A proven record of retaining and growing major accounts, including selling additional services and developing integrated client relationships.
- Direct experience delivering ambassador programmes or community-led projects, including recruitment, training, engagement, management and measurement.
- Experience leading experiential campaigns, live events or complex field-based programmes that combine digital and physical activity.
- International experience, including scaling programmes across markets while balancing global consistency with cultural relevance, local regulation and audience behaviour.
- Strong commercial experience across scopes, budgets, forecasting, resourcing and profitability, together with proposal writing, pitches and new-business development.

- up to £70,000, dependent on experience
