UK – Flexible / Remote
Up to £85,000 basic + Double OTE
Uncapped Commission
James Adams is working with a well-established MSP/VAR that is looking to appoint two experienced Account Directors as part of its continued growth.
This is a win-and-retain sales role, giving you the opportunity to win new customers and then retain ownership of those relationships, developing them strategically over the longer term.
Rather than handing customers across once the initial deal has been won, you'll have the opportunity to build your own portfolio of accounts, expand relationships and grow revenue across a broad technology and services proposition.
The portfolio includes:
- Cloud & Managed Services
- Cyber Security
- Data & AI
- Enterprise Networking
- Infrastructure
- Professional & Consulting Services
The Role
As an Account Director, you'll have responsibility for both new-logo acquisition and the ongoing growth of the customers you win.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
