ACCOUNT DIRECTOR £50,000–£60,000 + excellent benefits | Hybrid | Bristol/London (2 DAYS P/W)

ABOUT THE COMPANY

We’re partnering with an ambitious, growing marketing agency to find an Account Director who can combine strategic thinking, strong client leadership and a passion for delivering commercial results. The agency takes a fresh approach to marketing, helping ambitious businesses connect with their audiences through compelling content, creative campaigns, video, podcasts and ideas that make a measurable difference. It’s all about creating meaningful engagement and real business impact, rather than relying on traditional marketing tactics. The culture is collaborative, entrepreneurial and refreshingly down-to-earth, with the freedom to take ownership, challenge convention and make a genuine contribution.

DESCRIPTION

As Account Director, you’ll sit at the heart of the client relationships, ensuring strategy, creativity and delivery come together to achieve the right outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Client leadership: Build strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted strategic partner and providing clear, confident advice.
  • Marketing strategy: Understand each client’s business objectives and translate them into effective, commercially focused marketing and content strategies.
  • Campaign delivery: Lead integrated, multi-channel campaigns from strategic planning through to execution, ensuring work is delivered to a consistently high standard.
  • Team leadership: Manage, mentor and motivate your team, creating an environment where people can develop and do their best work.
  • Account development: Spot opportunities to expand existing relationships, strengthen client partnerships and introduce new services where they add value.
  • Performance and insight: Take responsibility for client outcomes, using data, insight and performance measures to continually refine activity and demonstrate impact.
  • Project and resource management: Balance competing priorities, oversee delivery and ensure projects remain on track.
  • Agency growth: Contribute ideas, insight and commercial thinking to help shape the agency’s future direction and success.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
