ACCOUNT DIRECTOR – FASHION & CULTURE

W is looking for an Account Director to join our Fashion & Culture team.

We’re looking for a brilliant publicist, confident client leader and experienced global press office operator who knows how to create conversation, build influence and deliver results.

This is a senior, hands-on PR role. You’ll lead clients, teams and the press agenda, bringing strong media relationships, sharp cultural instincts and the ability to turn brands, products and ideas into stories that travel.

You’ll have significant experience running UK and international press offices, managing global media relationships and delivering high-profile campaigns across fashion, lifestyle and culture.

THE ROLE

  • Act as senior PR lead and trusted counsel to clients, building strong senior relationships and providing confident day-to-day leadership.
  • Own the press office and media strategy, proactively driving stories, coverage, launches, campaigns and cultural moments.
  • Manage UK and international media relationships and act as a senior point of contact across global press activity.
  • Lead day-to-day account delivery, ensuring work is strategic, creative, on time and on budget.
  • Lead, motivate and develop account teams, creating a high-performing and collaborative environment.
  • Build strong relationships with media, talent, influencers, ambassadors and industry contacts.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and support W’s wider new business ambitions.
  • Bring W’s wider capabilities across creative, social, influencer, talent, content and experiential into client opportunities where relevant.
  • Lead events, launches, press events, shoots, partnerships and collaborations where required.
  • Develop strong proposals, credentials and pitches that sell our ideas and capabilities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
