Job Title: Account Director
Our client are an award-winning social media agency based in London, working with a range of well-known brands across B2B and consumer sectors. They are now looking for an experienced Account Director to join their growing B2B team in London.
Account Director Overview
Reporting to the Head of B2B, you’ll lead a portfolio of B2B clients across a range of sectors, taking responsibility for senior client relationships, account growth and the successful delivery of integrated marketing programmes across social media, content marketing and wider digital channels.
You’ll act as a trusted strategic partner to your clients while also taking ownership of the commercial management of your accounts, including forecasting, scoping, estimating and invoicing.
This is a hybrid role, with at least two days per week based in their London office and the remainder working remotely within the UK.
As Account Director, you will:
- Lead relationships across a portfolio of B2B accounts, building trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders up to Director and VP level.
- Oversee the delivery of integrated social, content, influencer, website and digital programmes from initial brief through to evaluation.
- Bring strong B2B marketing knowledge and insight to client discussions, planning and strategic decision-making.
- Drive account growth by identifying opportunities to expand services, increase revenue and develop long-term client partnerships.
- Lead content strategy across your accounts, ensuring social, content and web activity is aligned with wider client business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working across accounts.
- Manage account finances, including forecasting, scoping new projects, preparing estimates, budgeting and supporting invoicing.
- Lead early-stage content planning, connecting client objectives with strategy and delivery teams before overseeing implementation.
- Line manage and support the development of an Account Manager through coaching, feedback and ongoing development.

What They’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience within a client-facing agency environment, including experience managing B2B accounts.
- Current experience operating at Account Director level.
- A strong track record of developing trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Experience across B2B social and digital marketing, including organic social, paid social, web content and influencer programmes.
- Experience overseeing resource planning and briefing processes within an agency environment.
- Strong commercial experience, including forecasting, scoping, estimating, budgeting and overall account financial management.
- Confidence working with senior, executive and global stakeholders.
- The ability to manage multiple accounts and workstreams while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of B2B marketing with the ability to contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.
