Account Director – B2B Technology PR
Location: Central London – Hybrid
Salary: £55,000–£65,000
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
The Opportunity
We’re working with an award-winning communications agency looking for an experienced Account Director to join its growing B2B Technology team.
You’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking agency working with a broad mix of technology businesses, from established global brands through to some of the most exciting high-growth and emerging companies in the market.
The client portfolio spans a range of fast-moving areas of technology, giving you the opportunity to work across interesting and complex briefs, help innovative businesses tell their stories and play a key role in the continued growth of the team.
The Role
This is a senior, hands-on client-facing role where you’ll lead a portfolio of B2B technology accounts, provide strategic counsel to senior clients and oversee the development and delivery of creative, high-impact communications programmes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading B2B technology accounts and building strong relationships with senior clients.
- Developing communications strategies, compelling narratives and proactive campaign ideas.
- Providing strategic media counsel and staying close to the evolving technology, business and media landscape.
- Managing teams and developing junior colleagues.
- Overseeing budgets, resourcing and account profitability.
- Remaining hands-on across media relations, content and client delivery.
- Playing an key role in pitches, proposals and new-business growth.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the agency to develop creative and integrated campaigns.

About You
We’re looking for an Account Director with strong PR agency experience and a significant B2B technology background.
You’ll ideally bring:
- A strong track record of working with B2B and technology clients within a PR agency.
- Credibility and confidence with senior clients, alongside excellent relationship-building skills.
- Strong knowledge of the technology, business and national media landscape.
- Excellent media relations skills and the ability to identify strong stories and angles.
- Experience leading teams and developing more junior colleagues.
- Commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets and growing client accounts.
- Strong strategic, writing and presentation skills.
- Experience contributing to pitches and an appetite to play a role in agency growth.
- A curious, energetic and collaborative approach, with a genuine interest in technology and the businesses shaping the sector.
