Account Director – B2B Technology PR
Location: Central London – Hybrid
Salary: £55,000–£60,000 DOE
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
The Opportunity
We’re working with an award-winning communications consultancy looking for an experienced Account Director to join its growing Technology practice.
The agency combines the entrepreneurial feel of a specialist consultancy with the capabilities and resources of a wider corporate affairs group, spanning B2B technology PR, corporate communications, public affairs, policy, and creative.
You’ll join an established team working with major UK and international enterprise technology brands, working across high-profile accounts while helping shape the continued growth of the practice.
The Role
This is a senior, hands-on client-facing role. You’ll work across a portfolio of B2B enterprise technology accounts, provide strategic counsel to senior clients, and ensure the effective and profitable delivery of campaigns.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading key enterprise B2B technology accounts and senior client relationships.
- Developing communications strategies and proactive campaign ideas.
- Providing strategic media counsel and staying close to the evolving technology, business, and media landscape.
- Overseeing account teams and directly managing and developing team members.
- Overseeing budgets, resourcing, and account profitability.
- Remaining hands-on across media relations, content, and client delivery where required.
- Playing an active role in pitches, proposals, networking, and new-business growth.
- Collaborating with corporate affairs, public affairs, policy, creative, and international teams.

About You
We’re looking for an established Account Director with strong PR agency experience and a significant enterprise/B2B technology background.
You’ll ideally bring:
- A strong track record of working on enterprise technology accounts within a PR agency.
- Credibility and gravitas with senior clients, alongside excellent relationship-building skills.
- Current knowledge of the technology and national media landscape and strong strategic media relations expertise.
- Experience managing teams and taking ownership of budgets and commercial performance.
- Strong strategic, writing, and presentation skills.
- Experience contributing to pitches and a genuine appetite for new business and agency growth.
- A curious, energetic, and collaborative approach, with the willingness to remain close to delivery.
