About the Role

We need a sharp, organised client lead to run brilliant projects, grow accounts, and keep our clients closer than close.

How&How are seeking an Account Director to join and help lead our team in London. You will be an innate organisational force, with acute attention to detail and impeccable communication skills.

You will lead and oversee a range of creative and digital projects, from smaller tasks through to complex web builds. You will be responsible for the delivery of quality creative work through the effective management of your team, and your ability to lead and inspire others inside and outside the agency.

You will be able to adapt your approach depending on the audience and the client. You'll be as comfortable thinking big as you will be obsessing about the details.

Topline: we need a well-rounded team player to lead and manage projects, with amazing organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent relationship and business acumen.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of account managers
  • Lead and maintain client accounts, ensuring they are profitable and growing
  • Partner with senior clients, building a tight-knit relationship between their team and other stakeholders
  • Proactively take responsibility for driving each project forward
  • Confidently make decisions and build a persuasive rationale for them, bringing others along the decision-making process
  • Guide and motivate the people around you, including teammates, partners and clients
  • Always seek new and innovative ways to develop the work and your team
  • Develop cost estimates and proposals, and negotiate contracts and fees with clients
  • Work with the sales team in pitching to potential clients
  • Manage and maintain the financials of client accounts
  • Maintain a detailed awareness of market trends affecting your accounts, and developments in the wider branding and communications industry

Your Skills

  • 7+ years' hands-on agency experience in Client Services
  • Innate acumen for leading and managing creative brand and digital projects
  • Proven experience managing client engagements of all levels
  • Very strong financial and negotiation skills
  • Extremely comfortable using project management tools and platforms
  • Experience managing a mix of cross-sector projects, both B2B and B2C
  • Very strong interpersonal and communication skills (fluent in English, spoken and written)
  • Articulate in presenting work and facilitating workshops and pitches
  • Efficient, detail-oriented, organised, and able to work under tight deadlines
  • Able to balance day-to-day project deliverables, connect clients to the internal resources they need, and independently prioritise different workloads
  • Team player who'll fit into our design-driven, collaborative team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
