Account Director, PG One (PR - Lifestyle, Health & Beauty) | 12 month FTC
We are hiring an Account Director to join our PG One team on a 12-month FTC, working across a portfolio of world-leading lifestyle, health and beauty brands. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications professional to take a senior role in shaping culturally relevant campaigns, building trusted client partnerships and delivering integrated programmes that create meaningful business impact.
You’ll lead client relationships, provide strategic counsel and work closely with talented colleagues across disciplines to develop and deliver integrated communications programmes that connect brands with audiences in authentic and engaging ways. You’ll also play an important role in developing the wider team, bringing energy, expertise and a collaborative approach to every brief.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and oversee integrated communications programmes across multiple brands and markets, ensuring work is strategically strong, creatively compelling and delivered to a high standard.
- Act as a senior client partner, building trusted relationships, providing proactive counsel and identifying opportunities to strengthen and grow client accounts.
- Shape communications strategies and campaigns that respond to cultural moments, audience behaviours and the evolving media landscape.
- Lead earned media strategy and press office activity, developing compelling stories, identifying proactive opportunities and building strong relationships with consumer, lifestyle, health, beauty and national media.
- Oversee influencer, social and experiential activations, ensuring activity is strategically aligned, creatively engaging and delivered effectively across timelines, budgets and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with wider agency teams and specialist disciplines to develop integrated solutions that deliver against client objectives.
- Have a strong understanding of the client’s business and sector, using market, cultural, media and consumer insight to inform recommendations and identify new opportunities.
- Support account growth through strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to expand our work and demonstrating the value of our communications programmes.
- Lead, coach and develop junior team members, providing clear direction, feedback and support to build confidence, capability and high-performing teams.
- Monitor emerging cultural, media, digital and technology trends, including AI and the evolving search landscape, and translate these into relevant opportunities for clients.

Skills we’re looking for:

- Significant experience within a PR, communications or integrated agency environment, ideally working across consumer, lifestyle, beauty, health or FMCG brands.
- Proven experience leading client relationships and providing strategic counsel, with the confidence to influence and challenge clients where appropriate.
- Strong experience developing and delivering integrated communications strategies and campaigns across earned, social, influencer and/or digital channels.
- Excellent media relations experience, with a strong understanding of how to develop stories, build relationships and secure high-quality earned coverage.
- Strong project and account management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple complex projects, budgets and stakeholder groups while maintaining a high standard of delivery.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how to identify opportunities to develop client relationships and grow accounts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling narratives and tailor communications for different audiences and channels.
- Experience managing, mentoring and developing junior team members, creating an inclusive and collaborative team environment.
- A curious and forward-thinking approach, with an interest in emerging technologies, including AI, search evolution and the changing communications landscape.
- Collaborative, adaptable and solutions-focused, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment and bring energy and positivity to the team.
