Senior Account Management Role
A senior account management role to accelerate growth in the Group's priority accounts. Focused on new business to existing and new target clients you'll oversee the day-to-day management of key client relationships within the transport and distribution industry.

Description
- Oversee and act as a strategic development lead of my clients key strategic accounts (Existing and New).
- Drive customer engagement activities to deepen relationships
- Conduct regular meetings and business reviews
- Act as the primary escalation point for significant issues of central accounts
- Develop account strategy focused on (long-term) growth across the group
- Develop comprehensive account plans with clear growth initiatives
- Proactively identify customers' needs through deep understanding of their supply chain
- Encourage upselling and cross-selling through a trusted advisory role
- Track key account performance metrics and provide visibility to leadership
- Collaborate with BD Excellence/ Bid Management Team to set the group BD strategy
- Own and manage strategic central key accounts, ensuring growth, contract adherence, and partnership development
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful solution development, negotiation, and implementation for complex customers, with cross-BU demands

Profile
- Extensive experience in key account management - a track record of hunting/ identifying supply chain opportunities from concept/ tender through to successful implementation
- Strong relationship-building skills with executive-level stakeholders within strategic customer organisations - possess a clear understanding of supply chains
- Proven strategic planning and account management - Excellent commercial acumen, problem solving and experience in producing comprehensive solution responses
- Consistent record of meeting growth objectives and KPI
- Sector expertise in the identified sector - Evidence of thought leadership
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills - ability to work across the business and sell internally
- Ability to lead multiple opportunities at a time.
