Account Director – Events & Experiential, Maidenhead / Hybrid – £50,000–£60,000

We’re looking for an experienced Account Director to join a successful independent events and experiential agency, taking the lead across some of its key client relationships and helping to drive the continued growth of the business.

This is a senior client leadership role for someone who has built their career within events, experiential or brand experience and understands what it takes to deliver brilliant live work. You’ll have progressed from hands-on event and project delivery into senior account leadership, giving you the credibility to oversee complex programmes while building strong, trusted relationships with senior clients. As Account Director, you’ll take ownership of key accounts, identifying opportunities to grow relationships, develop new briefs and ensure the agency continues to deliver exceptional work.

Responsibilities of this Account Director:

  • Own and develop relationships with key senior clients
  • Lead major accounts across live events, experiential and brand experiences
  • Identify opportunities for organic account growth and additional revenue
  • Develop a thorough understanding of clients’ businesses, objectives and challenges
  • Lead responses to briefs, proposals, pitches and presentations
  • Provide strategic direction while ensuring projects remain commercially and operationally sound
  • Oversee multiple projects and programmes from brief through to live delivery
  • Work closely with project, creative, production and operational teams
  • Maintain oversight of budgets, scopes, profitability and account forecasting
  • Ensure consistently high standards of client service and delivery
  • Support, mentor and develop more junior members of the team
  • Contribute to the agency’s wider growth and development

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
