Account Director – Experiential Events & Brand Experience

KnoWho are partnering with a brilliant experiential agency renowned for creating unforgettable brand experiences across the globe.
We're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Account Director who thrives on building relationships, growing accounts and delivering exceptional experiences from brief to execution. If you're passionate about experiential marketing, events and live experiences, and enjoy balancing client growth with leading standout projects, this could be a fantastic fit.
This role sits at the heart of the agency's future growth and success. Equally split between developing client partnerships and overseeing the direction and delivery of projects, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping both the commercial and creative output of the business.
The Opportunity
As Account Director, you'll act as a trusted strategic partner to clients, leading conversations at a senior level and helping transform briefs into impactful experiences.
- You'll work closely with strategy, creative and production teams to develop compelling solutions, lead pitches and presentations, and identify opportunities to grow existing partnerships and win new business.
- Alongside this commercial focus, you'll maintain ownership and oversight of project delivery, ensuring campaigns and events are executed to the highest possible standard.

What You'll Be Doing
- Driving new business activity, including outreach, networking, pitch development and presentations.
- Growing and developing existing client accounts through strategic relationship management.
- Building trusted partnerships with senior client stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Leading the strategic direction and successful delivery of experiential campaigns, events and activations.
- Acting as the bridge between clients, strategy, creative and production teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Overseeing project timelines, budgets and team coordination to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Identifying opportunities to expand services and generate additional revenue streams.
- Supporting business planning, forecasting and wider agency growth initiatives.
- Providing senior leadership and mentoring across account and project teams.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience operating at Account Director level within an experiential, events or brand experience agency.
- A proven track record of both growing client accounts and successfully leading large-scale projects.
- Strong commercial awareness, with confidence leading senior client conversations and spotting opportunities.
- Experience overseeing experiential campaigns, live events, activations, exhibitions and conferences from concept through to delivery.
- Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to balance strategic account growth with hands-on project leadership.
- A collaborative approach and experience working cross-functionally with creative, strategy and production teams.
- Someone who genuinely enjoys both relationship building and bringing ambitious projects to life.
