Our client are looking for an experienced experiential events Account Director to join their growing experiential marketing and events business, taking the lead across key client accounts and overseeing the delivery of a wide range of live campaigns and events.

Hybrid: 2 days in Harpenden office, 3 days remote.

This is a senior, hands-on role combining strategic client leadership, account growth, team management and experiential event delivery. They're looking for someone who can build strong senior-level client relationships, lead accounts commercially and strategically, and ensure campaigns are delivered to an exceptional standard from initial brief through to live execution.

Experiential Account Director Role:

As Account Director, you will lead a portfolio of client accounts, developing strong relationships with senior stakeholders and taking overall responsibility for the successful delivery and growth of experiential campaigns and live events.

Experiential Account Director responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing key client relationships, acting as a trusted senior point of contact
  • Taking overall ownership of client accounts and identifying opportunities to grow and develop them
  • Leading responses to client briefs, proposals, pitches and presentations
  • Providing strategic, creative and experiential direction across campaigns
  • Overseeing multiple live projects and campaigns from initial brief through to delivery and evaluation
  • Leading and supporting Account Managers and the wider account team
  • Overseeing event production, logistics, venues, suppliers and staffing
  • Taking overall responsibility for project and account budgets, profitability and commercial performance
  • Providing senior leadership across key live events and activations

Ideally, you will have:

  • Significant experience within experiential marketing, events or a similar agency environment, ideally at Senior Account Manager or Account Director level
  • Strong experience delivering experiential campaigns, product sampling or mass sampling campaigns and live events
  • A proven track record of managing and developing senior client relationships
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing large project and account budgets
  • Experience growing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities
  • Strong event production, logistics and live delivery knowledge
  • Experience leading and developing Account Managers or wider project teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, leadership and organisational skills, with the flexibility to travel and attend live events when required
