Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Account Director to join our Financial Services team in GTM and manage key client accounts, driving client satisfaction, and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions. You will develop strategic account plans, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams, such as product development and marketing, to develop and deliver customized solutions to meet client needs and achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation: Achieve overall business goals and objectives to maximize revenue growth and future opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and objectives. Be the primary contact for assigned accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty. Conduct regular client meetings to review performance, address concerns, and explore new opportunities.
  • Account Planning and Growth: Develop strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and drive client growth. Uncover and lead opportunities for upselling and cross-selling software and platform solutions. Collaborate with clients to align solutions with their business strategies and objectives.
  • Market and Client Analysis: Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitive dynamics. Monitor client industries to anticipate changes and adapt strategies accordingly. Analyse client data to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
  • Communication and Reporting: Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports to clients and senior management. Provide regular updates on account status, progress, and growth metrics to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in selling platform and software solutions to financial / banking clients, combined with experience identifying opportunities for new business, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Experience and understanding of banking / financial services, their business and operational challenges, and current / future market dynamics.
  • Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and implement growth strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Client Relationship Management and Customer Centric Approach: Expertise in building and maintaining strong senior-level client relationships and understanding client needs.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of Experian's software and platform offerings to communicate value propositions and solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Capability to analyse market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Collaboration: Effective collaboration with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product development) to ensure cohesive strategy and execution.
  • Experience and training in a recognized sales methodology such as Miller-Heiman, SPIN.
  • Proven experience in managing virtual teams to deliver and achieve targets.
  • Strong track record of regularly achieving sales targets.
