IMA is a creative agency that builds brands people want to be part of. We’re looking for a warm, commercially minded Account Director to lead our client services team.

If you’re a confident relationship builder, strategic thinker and supportive team leader who loves delivering great work for leading brands, this is a brilliant chance to make a real impact in a collaborative, fast-paced agency.

The Role

You’ll lead integrated creative projects from brief to final delivery. Working closely with clients, account managers, creative teams, producers and agency leaders, you’ll turn client objectives into effective campaigns—delivered on time, on budget and to high standards.

Portfolio details: Client accounts will include brands in the gaming, gambling and weight management industries.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Client Leadership: Build and nurture trusted relationships with senior clients, acting as a strategic partner and point of escalation.
  • Account Strategy & Growth: Set clear direction across accounts to meet client goals, while spotting subtle ways to grow existing business and support pitch wins.
  • Project & Campaign Delivery: Guide work smoothly from brief through creative, production and delivery—keeping multiple projects, timelines and dependencies on track.
  • Commercial & Financial Ownership: Own account profitability, managing estimates, scopes, budget tracking, supplier costs and invoicing.
  • Team Leadership & Mentoring: Motivate and support Account Managers and project teams, fostering collaboration, clear feedback and personal growth.
  • Creative & Quality Partnership: Work closely with strategy, design and production teams to keep briefs razor-sharp and protect the quality of the final work.
  • Agency Culture: Share knowledge, improve everyday processes, and contribute positively to our team environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
